Our People
Elise's friend since middle school, when Ellen first moved to Texas. From their first jobs at The Mud Hut and high school art competitions to every milestone since, they've grown up side by side - and the friend group has happily expanded to include Ellen's kiddos.
Ellen Hart
Matron of Honor
Elise's older brother, who has looked out for her all her life, no matter how many miles were between them. He's the reason she loves art, theatre, and anything creative -especially a production he's starring in or has produced.
Trace Pope
Bridesman
Elise's younger brother, who she waited on like a real-life baby doll about to be delivered. They've shared a LOT of laughter, some tears, and the best adventures - a few days at Augusta National, a Rangers World Series win, and countless rounds of golf that neither one will ever concede.
Will Pope
Bridesman
Connely's sister, and one of the very best parts of joining the Lambert family. The miles between them have never mattered much - Emery has been a steady support for Connely for years, and she folded Elise in from the very beginning.

Mississippi still has a hold on Elise's heart, mostly because of friends like Marcy. Wine nights, Sunday lunches that ran long, and a friendship that has stayed steady through more than the easy years. Now the visits go the other way, and Elise gets to share DFW with Marcy's family.
Marcy Byrd
Bridesmaid
Gracie Griffin
Half of the duo behind the setup, so Elise owes her quite a bit. What began as working together turned into the kind of friendship that holds through big changes and keeps roping them into the same adventures. Elise can't imagine the last few years without her.
Bridesmaid
An Oxford friendship Elise never let go of, and one of the people who showed her what good community feels like. Emily's home was the whole friend group's escape — Bachelor nights and walks down to the lake. Even surrounded by Rebels, they let Elise stay as a Bulldog.
Emily Wilson

Logan Elliott

Nathan Allen
Nathan and Connely grew up in the same youth group, but became dear friends one summer as co-interns alongside Nathan’s wife, Sarah. They share a love of Thunder basketball, soccer, music, and general tomfoolery. Nathan is a true friend and steadying presence in Connely’s life.
Groomsman
Iain and Connely grew closer through years spent together in campus ministry at the University of Oklahoma. They keep each other up to date on baseball and basketball, respectively, and are the pair most likely to make an obscure TV reference nobody else has heard of.
Iain Bennett
Groomsman
Desi has been Connely’s collaborator, co-intern, and roommate (twice), and their friendship has grown into a brotherhood. From leading worship to late-night food runs and video games, he’s been a trusted friend - and, with Gracie, one half of the duo who brought Connely and Elise together.
